WELCOME

Welcome to the Janssen family blog. I wanted to create this blog to inform our friends and family about our pending adoption. We are now in the waiting period. Our homestudy was finished and sent to Korea in July. Right now the wait is about a year from homestudy to referral. The referral will be a picture of our daughter and all her information. We hope to have this next summer.

Some of you know that we have already picked a name for our little sweetie. My great grandmothers name was Lillian Sophia and she was such a angel that I know that she will be standing next to Gods side sending down my Lily just for our family. Her first name will be Lillian. We are waiting to see her Korean name in hopes that we will use it for her middle name.

Our family is so excitted to add a daughter and a sister! The boys ask about their sister Lily frequently. We continue to pray that God will send our Lily to us and that he will give Lily's birth mother the strength and faith to endure such a hard decision. Please pray for her so that she knows that her daugther will be loved and cared for by our family.

I will continue to update you on our adoption as well as our families day to day adventures.
